Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated paraplanner to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will assist our financial advisor in developing comprehensive financial plans for clients, ensuring that all aspects of their financial needs are addressed. We are looking for someone that is licensed or seeking to become licensed with some industry experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of financial products, and the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- With support of the financial advisor, conduct thorough financial analysis to assess clients' current financial situations and future goals.
- Assist in the preparation of estate planning documents and strategies to help clients manage their wealth effectively.
- Prepare advisor for prospective and existing client meetings by briefing upcoming meetings and staying ahead of necessary to-dos. Follow through on post-meeting client service action items
- Work directly with clients to execute service needs including: account openings, transfers, account updates, and other advisory requests from advisor and/or clients.
- Prepare and update financial plans, investment allocation models, insurance proposals, and client meeting presentations.
- Support the sales process by providing necessary documentation and insights during client meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, status updates and upcoming client opportunities in CRM.
- Execute other administrative tasks and other team-wide duties as needs arise.
Experience
- Series 66 and Series 7 encouraged but not required
- Proven experience in finance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Previous experience in financial sales or customer service will enhance your candidacy.
- Keen attention to detail and organizational skills
