About the Role:
AmeriPouch is expanding its production capabilities and seeking a Mechanical Engineer / On-Site Equipment Technician to oversee, maintain, and optimize high-speed manufacturing lines. This role bridges mechanical engineering, automation, and hands-on troubleshooting — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-scaling production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain high-speed pouching, mixing, and labeling equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues
- Assist with equipment commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation, and process improvements
- Support production teams with preventive maintenance and operator training
- Collaborate on new line setups and efficiency upgrades
Qualifications:
- 3 years experience as a mechanical engineer, industrial technician, or maintenance mechanic in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, PLCs, pneumatics, and motion controls
- Experience with stick pack, pouching, or form-fill-seal machines is highly preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage maintenance logs
- Problem-solving mindset and hands-on mechanical skills
