Job Title: Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and executing the production schedule in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role ensures efficient workflow, proper training of employees, and adherence to safety and compliance standards while fostering a productive team environment.
Essential Functions:
- Directs production operations and personnel to meet established production and quality control standards, to control budget and costs, and to provide data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products produced.
- Establishes short-term activities directed toward production continuity and balance such as shift schedules, ensuring requisition of materials, machine loading, grievance resolution, and equipment maintenance.
- Selects, organizes, trains, and motivates production labor force to ensure consistent attainment of production schedules at optimum productivity and cost levels.
- Recommend improvements in production flow or methods.
- Ensures effective use of operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and to improve product quality.
- Counsels Coaches as needed on job performance and departmental efficiencies.
- Ensures that all products meet customer specifications.
· Provide training and development to new and existing employees to cultivate high performing teams.
- Ensuring employees' times are accurate and entered on timecard, approving time daily.
- Ensures that all safety related concerns are communicated and addressed.
- Able to read and write English
- Detail Oriented and ability to review documentation for errors
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable FDA and USDA regulations.
- Possess an innovative, resourceful, and proactive disposition, committed to ensuring continuous improvement of our processes.
- Ability to recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, shifting work environment.
- Flexible to accommodate changing business conditions, work requirements, and scheduling needs.

Required Qualifications:
· Previous coaching and mentoring experience
· Minimum of 5 years in food industry
· Computer literate
· Bilingual
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
· Ability to take notes and record information on paper and computer systems.
· Must be able to carry and inspect necessary equipment unassisted (up to 40 lbs).
· Perform physical duties as directed by management, including standing, sitting, moving/traversing, kneeling, bending, and reaching with hands and arms for extended periods.
· Operate in close quarters, narrow spaces, small rooms, and passageways on a daily basis.
Regular exposure to:
· Cold manufacturing environment (34–36°F).
· Machinery and pallet jack traffic.
· Loud noise levels.
