Responsibilities
The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the effective implementation of all care coordination and utilization management programs. This includes the clinical and administrative supervision, directly or indirectly, of all non-medical clinical staff. The Director of Clinical Services develops and implements clinical policies and procedures, operational and functional support for Utilization Management activities including enhanced care coordination, and identifies and implements best practice protocols. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for: ensuring that all regulatory guidelines are being met; ensures strong collaborative relationships with other agencies, providers and policy makers; identifies and monitors operational and service outcomes; and assists with new program development. In collaboration with the Medical Director and Director of Quality Management, tracks and trends under and over utilization of behavioral health, developmental disability and substance use services to identify service gaps and opportunities for efficiencies.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 2 days a week in the Harrisburg, PA PerformCare office.

Education
- Master’s Degree from an accredited educational program in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, Nursing or Behavioral Clinical Specialty required.
- Ph.D. in clinical psychology is a plus.
- Must be licensed in Pennsylvania with one of the following: LCSW/LCADC/LPC/LMFT/PH.D
- 10 years experience in assessment, treatment and clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated understanding of the managed care model within the context of working with state government (including the child welfare system) and social services.
- Experience with children behavioral health services preferred
