AmeriGas is a Drug Free Workplace. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check. The pay for this position ranges from $25.00/hour to $25.00/hour, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Remove rust on tanks and repaint them.
- Replace parts on tanks as required.
- Visually recertify tanks.
- Clean up work area after work is completed daily
- Identify and report when replacement supplies are needed.
- Provide daily reports of the number of tanks/cylinders completed, by size
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from manager
- Ability to climb steps/ladders, walk 1-5 miles and carry multiple propane cylinders weighing up to 75 lbs. each
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and around tanks
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
- Willingness to travel minimum of 1 week per month, sometimes including weekends.
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license
