CDL A Truck Driver

This is a full-time, on-site role for a CDL A Truck Driver at Amerifreight Systems LLC, based in Bensenville, IL. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include timely delivery of freight, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo, and maintaining accurate transport documentation. Drivers will interact professionally with clients during pick-ups and drop-offs, ensuring exceptional service and representing the Amerifreight brand with integrity.

• Possession of a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
• Proficiency in vehicle inspection and safety protocols
• Experience navigating routes efficiently and using GPS or mapping tools
• Strong time management skills and adherence to delivery schedules
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude with clients
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent; previous trucking experience is a plus
