Job Description
Teller
* Process teller transactions by taking deposits, making withdrawals, and cashing checks after verification of signatures and balances.
* Opening accounts
*Answer questions and customer concerns regarding checking and savings accounts.
* Process and post various loan payments, record information in the database and issue a proper receipts for each transaction.
* Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the issue, determining the problem, and explaining the best resolution.
* Promotes the bank’s products and services; consistently cross-sells bank products at every opportunity.
* Greets and welcomes customers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
* Counts, checks and packages coin and currency. Balances cash drawer at the end of the day and reports any discrepancies.
* May be involved in ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing cash.
*May be responsible for bank opening/closing.
* Assist customers with safe deposit box entry and exit.
* Scan/Image daily Work and related documents.
* Process and assist with opening and closing night depository.
* Complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs).
* Protect customer and bank nonpublic information from unauthorized access by understanding the Bank’s Information Security Policies and being aware of current Cybersecurity issues.
* Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Able to remain calm, friendly and professional through any and all situations
* Creative problem solver
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
