Position Summary: Commercial Loan Administrator I
In this role, you will assist with the administration, daily operations, and servicing of the Commercial Lending Department. You will serve as a key point of support for our Financial Centers, guide loan documentation from pre-closing to final booking, and ensure all loans comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do as a Commercial Loan Administrator I
- Loan Documentation & Processing: Review and prepare commercial loan documents to ensure they align with approved terms, internal policies, and federal regulations.
- Collateral Management: File and track liens, UCC filings, and related collateral documents, maintaining meticulous records for audits.
- Reporting: Prepare the Commercial Lending Department’s aggregate report and monthly reporting for the Board of Directors.
- Compliance & Appraisals: Accurately apply the Interagency Appraisal and Evaluations Guidelines and Commercial Lending Policy when ordering appraisals and environmental assessments.
- Loan Booking: Ensure all commercial loans are booked accurately with salient data entered correctly into various lending systems and general ledger accounts.
- Team Support: Assist in implementing new regulatory processes and aid the Commercial Lending staff with member servicing.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail for tracking collateral and legal filings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across the organization.
