What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Associate - Sports Leadership position at AmeriCorps?
The Sports Leadership Summer Associate will support and deliver resources and facilitate camp programming as a part of TSF’s summer camp & dual-track model youth workforce program. As a result of the Associate’s service, the program will increase its ability to secure long-term participation and community support, ensuring TSF can continue to serve all youth and low income populations working to improve economic stability and self-sufficiency.

Member Duties : Partner with Workforce staff and managers to oversee multi-site operations, contributing to high-quality program delivery and adherence to foundation standards for all participants. Coordinate daily "Pod" logistics, including collaborating with other Summer Associates on scheduling pick-up/drop-off of Student Leader cohorts to ensure 100% site access and employment reliability. Audit complex staff rosters to ensure all sites are adequately staffed, maintaining optimal ratios for youth safety and engagement. Support team of participants in Basketball, Football and other enrichment programming, supporting facilitation and fostering a safe environment of play. Distribute and collect supplies, equipment, uniforms and other materials. Communicate regularly with staff and other coaches to ensure program quality. Attend and participate in coach off-site and on-site training. Participate in curriculum enhancement for education enrichment and physical activities
