REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 17 years of age, High School Diploma/GED, 48 College Credit Hours Earned/WorkKeys Assessment with a score of 3 or greater in each category, Pass NSOPW and State/FBI background checks, Alabama Substitute License/Certificate, Reliable Transportation to any school site (McKenzie, Georgiana; Greenville).

The AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team (AIST) is a 9-month service program beginning October 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027. AIST members commit to serving 1200 service hours (approximately 38 hours/week). AIST members assist with students in pre-school through 12th grade in all Butler County Schools (McKenzie, Georgiana and Greenville). The AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team partners with community projects and participates in required National Service Days throughout the year.
