What are the responsibilities and job description for the USDA Compliance Quality Technician (Cold Chain) position at Americold Warehousing?
Shape Food Safety in Mullica Hill
Step into a role where your attention to detail keeps products moving safely and compliantly through our Mullica Hill facility. As a USDA Compliance Quality Technician, you’ll be the linchpin between regulatory partners and warehouse operations—making sure every load is stamped, every record is accurate, and every alert gets the right response.
A day in the life
You start your morning preparing for USDA inspections—pulling the right products, organizing paperwork, and stamping loads for release. Midday, you’re coordinating with warehouse teams to make sure communication with USDA is clear and timely. When a refused product entry hits your queue, you log it, ensure proper handling, and keep sanitation in inspection areas spotless. If a regulatory alert or recall notice arrives, you mobilize quickly—distributing information and logging actions. Before you wrap up, you review compliance files so everything is current and audit-ready.
