Duties
- Monitor the premises using CCTV systems and perform regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct thorough inspections of visitors, staff, and contractors to ensure compliance with safety policies
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR if necessary
- Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying theft or vandalism and reporting incidents accurately
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical situations to ensure swift resolution
- Manage conflict situations professionally, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; training will be provided if necessary
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel
