Americo is hiring a full time Manager, Strategy to join our expanding team!
The hours for this position are 8:00-5:00, onsite at our downtown Kansas City, MO office location.
Overview
The Strategy and Transformation team is responsible for supporting the development and execution of Americos corporate and departmental strategies while driving key organizational initiatives.
This role supports business leaders, cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders and plays a key role in translating strategic insights into actionable initiatives, maintaining strategic roadmaps, and advancing enterprise-wide priorities within established guidelines and service level expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and document corporate and departmental strategies.
- Lead strategic initiative planning efforts across departments.
- Partner with business leaders to conduct feasibility analyses on future opportunities.
- Support business case development and financial modeling for strategic initiatives.
- Lead execution and delivery of strategic initiatives, including product evaluations, platform implementations, and operational/process improvements.
- Work cross-functionally to shape and execute strategic efforts across the organization.
- Track and measure benefits realization for executed initiatives.
- Gather and validate internal operational data to support prioritization of strategic opportunities.
- Prepare executive-level reports outlining progress against strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 35 years of experience in consulting, accounting, finance, or corporate strategy.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and business case development.
- Experience working with analytics or business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and present large volumes of data.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelors degree.

- Experience within the life insurance or annuity industry.
