Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers.
- Sort, fold, and organize linens and fabrics according to established standards
- Handle delicate items with care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment issues promptly
- Ensure timely completion of laundry tasks to meet operational deadlines
- Adhere to hygiene standards to promote a clean and sanitary environment
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations, including use of commercial laundry equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and fabric care, including dry cleaning procedures
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
