Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that create a welcoming, sanitary environment for residents, guests, or clients. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing requests or concerns from residents or guests promptly and professionally
- Manage housekeeping supplies inventory and restock as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Experience with carpet cleaning equipment and housekeeper management is a plus
- Basic understanding of janitorial supplies management and safety procedures
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous but not mandatory
