We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring every guest experiences a spotless and inviting environment. Duties
This is not a job where you sit behind a desk. Be prepared to move around because more than half of the time you will be standing/sitting, carrying/lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs and more. You also must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays. - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas to meet hotel standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels to ensure guest satisfaction
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols during all tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobby, laundry rooms, and conference spaces
- Assist with additional janitorial tasks as needed to support overall hotel operations
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably within hospitality or hotel environments
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety guidelines
