As a Member Service Representative/Teller, you'll be the friendly face and trusted advisor for our valued members. Duties
- Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting members warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Promote and cross-sell financial products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet member needs and enhance their financial well-being.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services or accounts to deepen member relationships.
- Detect and prevent potential fraud or suspicious activity through vigilant monitoring of transactions and account activity.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring proper cash management, and adherence to security protocols.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly
- Strong cash handling
- Ability to perform basic math accurately using 10 key typing skills for quick calculations.
- Understanding of fraud prevention techniques to safeguard member accounts and assets.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining banking products and services clearly and confidently.
