What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transitional Housing Support Staff Days/Nights position at AMERICAS REHAB CAMPUSES LLC?
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Transitional Housing Support Staff provides basic client care, aids with activities of daily living, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of the Director of Transitional Housing, Lead Housing Technician and Director of Clinical Services. In addition to Transitional Housing Support Staff duties, the support staff will assist clients in enhancing their recovery and help promote client’s wellness. The support staff will provide guidance to effectively navigate the behavioral health system in the process of their recovery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Minimum two (2) years of education focused on nursing, psychology, social service, medicine or related field preferred. Completion of accredited Recovery Support Specialist program, preferred.
Experience:
Training or experience in substance abuse and/or behavioral health services; preferred.
Certification:
Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid, TB, and Handle with Care within the first three (3) months of hire and annually thereafter. Fingerprint Clearance Card as stated in ARC policies.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
