America's Motor Sports in the Madison area is actively seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Powersports Accessory Sales Associate. In this role, you'll be the go-to-expert- for all things powersports accessories. You'll assist customers in finding the ideal helmets, riding apparel, aftermarket parts, upgrades and maintenance essentials to elevate their riding experiences. Strong knowledge and genuine passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, or other powersports vehicles. Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the powersports, automotive or outdoor recreational industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Proactively engage with customers to understand their powersport needs and preferences.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations on a wide range of power sports accessories but not limited to:

o Helmets, jackets, pants, gloves, and boots

o Aftermarkets exhausts, performance parts, and suspension upgrades

o Lighting, audio, and navigation systems

o Storage solutions, covers, and security devices

o Maintenance products and tools

· Educating customers on product features, benefits, and power usage

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system

· Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing accessories showroom

· Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products

· Stay up to date on the latest powersports accessory trends, new products, and industry developments

· Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

· Handle Customers inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in the powersports, automotive or outdoor recreational industry
• Strong knowledge and genuine passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft, or other powersports vehicles
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused with a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed

Base rate Commission!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
