Accounting / Data Entry Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting / Data Entry Specialist to support our growing operations. This role involves full-cycle accounting responsibilities along with data entry, vendor coordination, and administrative support.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, capable of working independently, and comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including:
  • Accounts payable & accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General ledger entries
  • Financial record maintenance
• Accurately complete data entry and maintain organized records
• Utilize QuickBooks for accounting functions
• Use Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis
• Communicate with vendors regarding:
  • Account updates
  • Pricing changes
  • Invoice discrepancies
• Maintain and update vendor information and pricing records
• Organize and manage files using OneDrive and other computer systems
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems and processes

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college coursework preferred
• Degree in Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field is a plus (not required)

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required)
• Experience with QuickBooks (preferred)
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with cloud storage systems such as OneDrive
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic work environment
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
