Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high cleanliness standards.
• Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall floor appearance across all hotel areas.
• Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and dining areas to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning supplies responsibly.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management for prompt resolution.
• Support the housekeeping management team in training new staff members and maintaining efficient workflow processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including janitorial practices and industrial cleaning methods.
• Skilled in floor care techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks safely. Pay: $15.25 - $16.00 per hour
