Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
Maintain detailed records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
Requirements
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Must frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds to assist clients with transfers, mobility, and positional adjustments.
Must frequently bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and reach overhead to assist clients with daily living activities and personal hygiene care.
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours per 8-hour shift while preparing meals, performing light housekeeping, and running errands.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, have reliable access to a vehicle, and be able to travel to client assignments within the service area. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
