Americare Behavioral Health is seeking for a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Clinician to join our behavioral health team. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other clinicians, case managers, and program coordinators to ensure that each client receives comprehensive and coordinated treatment. Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy.
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and agency standards.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in mental health or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders is highly desirable
- Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and interventions
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding and documentation standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
