Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Materials Scientist at Americarb. The Materials Scientist will be responsible for conducting research and development (R&D) with a focus on carbon, ceramic, and graphite materials. The day-to-day tasks will involve laboratory work, analysis, testing, and the development of innovative materials solutions.
Qualifications
- Laboratory skills, including lab setup, experimental design and operation
- Expertise in research and development (R&D) in the field of materials science
- Knowledge and experience in carbon, graphite, and ceramic materials
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with FEA or other Computational Materials Modelling is a plus.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preffered
