Americana Kitchen & Bar brings together the warmth of community dining and the creativity of modern cuisine. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher/Porter to join our team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and operating efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, including floors, workstations, and storage areas.
- Empty trash and recycling throughout each shift and ensure waste areas remain clean.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies
- Assist with cleaning and closing duties.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the kitchen team with additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
Pay: $15.92 - $18.00 per hour
