Description for Industrial Laborer:
- Patch and touch up ends of manufactured rebar to meet rigid quality and safety specifications before shipping.
- Perform general, continuous cleanup across active production bays to preserve a safe, organized, and hazard-free facility layout.
- Safely operate in a rugged, high-activity manufacturing environment (conditions can be wet, loud, and dusty/dirty).
- Collaborate dynamically with shift machine operators and line leads to ensure daily production output goals are met.
- Strictly follow all facility safety protocols, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and respect moving equipment zones.
Details for Industrial Laborer:
- Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (Enjoy consistent weekday shifts with your weekends completely free!).
- Shift Options (Choose Your Ideal Run):
- Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Swing Shift: 3:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Location: Tacoma, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path with excellent long-term career advancement potential.
Requirements for Industrial Laborer:
- Prior professional experience working inside a heavy industrial yard, lumber mill, or manufacturing setting.
- Proven, hands-on ability to accurately read and utilize a standard tape measure down to fractions.
- Solid basic math skills with the complete capability to calculate measurements on the fly.
- Absolute comfort working in demanding industrial conditions (loud, wet, and dirty/dusty environments).
- A proactive, safety-minded work ethic and the ability to follow strict verbal and written directions cleanly.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
