Description for Maintenance Mechanic:
- Systems Diagnostics: Troubleshoot, repair, and modify a wide catalog of industrial production machinery, automated extrusion lines, and heavy plant equipment to maximize uptime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute structured preventative and predictive maintenance protocols on complex mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic assemblies.
- Plant Infrastructure Care: Inspect, maintain, and overhaul facility-wide infrastructure, including industrial electrical networks, commercial plumbing, material conveyance systems, and compressed air grids.
- Fabrication & Upgrades: Complete technical equipment upgrades, structural fabrication projects, and routine welding tasks to optimize production workflows.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to corporate safety mandates, always keeping a clean workspace and executing flawless Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
Details for Maintenance Mechanic:
- Pay Rate: $24.40 / hour (Wages scale higher depending on your specific Depth of Experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday to start during training, then transitioning permanently to a highly desirable 2-2-3 rotating schedule (Work just 15 days a month with built-in 3-day weekends!).
- Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) OR Night Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM).
- Location: Chehalis, WA.
- Status: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:
- Trade Experience: Proven prior experience working as an industrial maintenance mechanic or automated machinery tech required.
- Technical Versatility: Well-rounded diagnostic familiarity with a combination of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and fluid power systems.
- Operational Flexibility: Ability to work occasional overtime with short notice to support emergency line failures.
