American Workforce Group has partnered with a premier aerospace fabrication facility in Tacoma, WA looking for a dual-threat CNC Machinist. This is a high-level role for a professional who thrives on the complexity of aerospace components and high-tolerance manufacturing.

What You’ll Do as a CNC Machinist:
- Multiaxis Milling: Set up, program, and operate 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills
- Lathe Operations: Set up and operate CNC lathes (experience with live tooling is a major plus!).
- Technical Interpretation: Masterfully interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T standards.
- Strategy & Setup: Independently select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and workholding for diverse materials.
Details for CNC Machinist:
- Pay Rate: $28.00 – $36.00/hour (DOE)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Opportunities for Overtime available!)
Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- Aerospace Fluency: Expert ability to read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints and GD&T.
- Independence: Ability to develop complete programs from scratch, including toolpath strategy
- Ability to operate CNC Lathe
