Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts within the construction sector. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members, to facilitate effective communication.
- Support the development of construction estimates and budgets using tools like HeavyBid and Civil 3D.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for management review.
- Manage project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that may arise during construction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management or coordination within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction estimating practices and tools such as Bluebeam.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling techniques and software (e.g., Primavera).
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics is essential.
- Understanding of contracts related to construction projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
