Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and track sales/marketing programs and promotions for all locations within assigned territory. Responsible for results of programs and initiatives
- Prioritize sales activities for Territory Managers and set Activity Report agenda, fully managing and utilizing our CRM sales software
- Assist in maintaining acceptable accounts receivable percentages. Using information from the financial review, identify and correct shortfalls in sales and margin
- Provide training and communication to Territory Managers regarding programs to improve competitive position and improve customer service levels. Organize training for store employees on product lines
- Monitor market conditions and product innovations
- Assess market potential of new and existing store locations
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing weekly call reports, sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports
- Comply with all rules, policies and procedures as well as Federal, State and Local laws
- Establish and track goals for Territory Managers
- Identify sales/product training opportunities and assist in identifying associates to attend such training
- Key Product Lines for Growth (Industrial gas, Medical gas, Bulk gas, Specialty gas, Welding equipment and supplies, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
