Primary Role
Provides a combination of administrative, analytical and technical support for the organization. Key Accountabilities
Use MapCall, SAP and other AW systems to review and evaluate water and wastewater assets and equipment.
Use various tools to analyze, compile, track, report and at times update asset or equipment data.
As-built processes various reoccurring processes which may include, but are not limited to, water plant operations, capital programs, field projects, work orders, regulatory compliance customer service and employee records.
Prepares, responds, and gathers data requests in various configurations such as SAP, CRM, MapCall and various other systems.
Compiles and reviews numerous essential reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Interacts with internal customers as a first level resource for various departmental or functional issues which may be related to customer service, customer billing, water supply, regulatory issues etc.
Provides any additional assistance and researches and resolves difficult customer questions, concerns, difficulties, inquiries and/or problems.
Provides general assistance for day-to-day managerial and departmental needs and special projects. Knowledge/Skills
Thorough knowledge of standard business practices and principles, including basic accounting and budgeting.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite applications and email management systems (MS Outlook).
Knowledge of specific systems such as SAP, MapCall, GIS, and/or PowerPlan preferred.
Demonstrated organization and administrative skills
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize tasks
Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail a must. Experience/Education
High school diploma with post high school coursework in secretarial science, business, finance, accounting required.
Associates level degree in business, GIS, engineering, finance, or accounting preferred.
Minimum of 3 years overall work experience in administrative, reporting, customer service, analytics, GIS or asset management within a utility preferred. Travel Requirements
Up to 10% local travel and occasional overnight. Work Environment

This role will be involved in production training, networking with district supervisors, reporting, as well as managing assets throughout the designated PA territory. As the Operations Analyst, you will help train all sides of the business on our system of record. You will work with our engineers, as well as outside consultants on projects. Our winning candidate will be able to build strong relationships across the business and be a self-starter. *This role has the option of reporting from our operations in Mechanicsburg or Carnegie, PA.
