What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at American Unit, Inc?
This is a part-time engagement (20 hours/week, maximum 640 hours) and requires candidates who are comfortable working with executive stakeholders, business users, and third-party vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
:• Manage the end-to-end implementation of VBOA's replacement licensing and management syste
m• Lead business process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder workshop
s• Coordinate project activities between agency leadership, business teams, vendors, and technical resource
s• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risk logs, and status report
s• Oversee vendor deliverables and ensure project objectives are achieved on schedul
e• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment readiness reviews, and production implementation activitie
s• Manage project risks, issues, change requests, and stakeholder communication
s• Provide executive-level project updates and ensure alignment with VITA standards and governance requirement
s• Lead change management activities and support user adoption effort
s• Ensure successful project closure, documentation, and knowledge transfe
