We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to join our trucking company. The ideal candidate will have experience with trucks, truck parts, inventory, purchasing, and computer-based software.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain truck and truck-part inventory in company software
- Process and organize incoming vehicle titles for purchased trucks
- Review and process invoices and purchase orders
- Verify information for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organized records and documentation
- Communicate with internal team members regarding purchases and paperwork
- Assist with inventory tracking and general administrative duties
- Ensure all paperwork is properly entered, filed, and up to date
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the trucking, transportation, heavy-duty truck, or truck-parts industry
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Experience with inventory, invoices, purchase orders, vehicle titles is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
