Job Overview

American Truck & Trailer Supply is looking to hire a Part Time Sales and Parts Associate. For 30 years American Truck & Trailer has been selling, servicing and repairing all types of trailers, and installing towing equipment, vehicle accessories and snow plows. We are looking for a positive, energetic and organized individual who is keen to serve customers and learn about the industry. Hours per week 10-30, may vary with season and vacation coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Greet and deal with customers in a polite, cheerful and professional manner

· Respond to customer questions

· Provide customers with details on quotes, prices, discounts and warranties

· Document sales and process cards, checks and cash

· Assist in displaying merchandise and stocking shelves

· Print and attach price labels

· Notify when stock levels are low

· Check and receive stock

· Check in customer vehicles and trailers for repair, recording vehicle details and client concerns

· Clearly and patiently explain any work required/ completed to clients

· Maintain a clean work and store area

· Conduct all duties in a safe manner, and report any potential safety hazards immediately

· Adhere to company policies

Qualifications and Experience
· Confident, positive disposition

· Polite, helpful and regular in attendance

· Preference for individual with experience of automotive, RV or trailer industry

· Good written and verbal communication skills in relation to customers and co workers

· Some experience in retail sales and inventory/ parts management

· Be able to spend most of the working day on your feet an. Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

· Available to work some Saturdays, as well Monday through Friday

· Ability to speak Spanish an advantage

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
