American Tree Solutions is a professional tree service company in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for a dependable Groundsman / Equipment Operator to join our crew. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, experience operating a mini skid steer, and knowledge of rope and rigging for tree work. Experience operating a spider lift is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate mini skid steer safely and efficiently
- Perform rope and rigging operations for tree removal and pruning
- Assist climbers during tree work
- Chipping, raking, and job site cleanup
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license (required)
- Mini skid steer operating experience (required)
- Knowledge of rope and rigging techniques (required)
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well on a team
- Tree service experience preferred
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience operating a spider lift
