Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Echocardiography for a 4-week assignment in an adult echo lab requiring ARDMS or CCI certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in a non-invasive cardiology echo lab at an academic medical center in Burlington, Vermont
- Adult patient population including inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings
- Minimum caseload of 7–8 echo studies per day
- May float to an outpatient facility
- Some on-call may be required
- Epic EMR used; recent experience is required
- 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week
- Schedule runs Monday through Sunday; block scheduling is not permitted
Requirements
- ARDMS or CCI certification (ARDCS) required
- Current AHA BLS required
- EKG recognition required
- Minimum of 2 years of echocardiography experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required
- At least two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor — one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year of employment
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted; pay rates are tiered based on distance from the facility (50 miles or less, 51–100 miles, or 101 miles)
- Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
- All employment gaps of more than 30 days must be explained in the work history
- Work history must include bed count, EMR, and facility type information
