American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer for a general ultrasound position requiring 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.

• Fri-Sun schedule from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM
• 36-40 guaranteed hours weekly with variable weekend hours
• Back-up call required
• Float policy of 25 miles between facilities as needed, including Sanford
• 200-bed facility
• Equipment includes Philips Epiq and GE E10 ultrasound systems
• Epic EMR used

• ARDMS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3-5 years preferred
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Any scrub color accepted
• Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) are considered local, with a reduced bill rate
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
