Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract position at a medical center in Decorah, Iowa, with experience across multiple surgical specialties required.

- Hospital-based surgical setting in Decorah, Iowa
- Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental
- Primary schedule is 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with start times as early as 6:00 AM depending on surgical caseload
- Position includes an on-call rotation of approximately 1 night per every 2-week pay period and every 5th to 6th weekend
- Holiday call rotation is required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program required
- Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Active Iowa State license required if applicable
- Completion of Iowa State Mandatory Reporter Training required
- Must be able to reside within 30 minutes of the facility to fulfill on-call obligations
