Description
American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of OR experience across various specialties for a hospital-based CST position.
Details
- Hospital operating room setting supporting scheduled and emergency surgical cases
- 4x10-hour shifts, days may vary based on facility need
- Shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per month within each 6-week schedule
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CST experience across various surgical specialties in an operating room setting
- NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- License required if applicable
- Strong communication skills required
Additional Information
- Responsible for planning and preparing for surgical procedures and assisting the surgeon
- Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and assembling scheduled and emergency case carts
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
