Description
American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 3 years of OR experience and proficiency across multiple surgical specialties for a 13-week hospital assignment in Northern Nevada.

- Hospital operating room setting
- Surgical specialties include ENT, general, GYN, neuro/cranial/spine, ortho, urology, vascular, and robotics
- 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts with a 0630 start time
- On-call is required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an OR setting
- CST credential (NBSTSA) required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- High school diploma required
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including ENT, general, GYN, neuro/cranial/spine, ortho, urology, vascular, and robotics
- Active license required if applicable (no pending licensure accepted)
- US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Strong communication skills
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
Additional Information
- Plan and prepare for surgical procedures, including assembly of scheduled and emergency case carts
- Assist the surgeon throughout procedures and ensure sterilization of surgical equipment
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months — at least one reference should be from the most recent employer
- Date of birth required for consideration
- BLS certification must be from the American Heart Association (AHA only)
- First-time travelers must have at least 2 years of prior U.S. hospital experience in the assigned specialty to be considered
