Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Step-Down Unit position requiring Epic experience and EKG telemetry competency, with night shift availability every other weekend and holiday.
Details
- Step-Down Unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Travelers are first to float at the facility's discretion, within a specialty cluster; float assignments will be medically appropriate or in a support role, including to the High Risk Respiratory/COVID unit
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior Step-Down or Telemetry nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must be able to pass an online EKG/Telemetry competency assessment prior to starting the assignment
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Additional Information
- Must successfully complete an online EKG telemetry competency assessment before the assignment begins
- Travelers are not eligible for facility employee incentive programs
- 13-week contract with up to 2 shifts subject to cancellation due to low census
