Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Step-Down) position requiring at least 2 years of step-down experience, with Epic EMR and willingness to float to the ED.

- Telemetry monitoring of step-down level patients
- Floating to the ED is required

Requirements
- Active IA RN license or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of step-down/PCU experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the standard travel pay rate
- Candidates who were employed by the facility within the 12 months prior to applying may be excluded from consideration
- Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
- RTO is limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the Christmas/New Year's window (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked
