Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an IMC (Intermediate Care) position requiring telemetry, vent, and transplant experience across both a Medical/Progressive Care and a Thoracic unit.
Details
- Works across two IMC units: a Medical/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit
- Patient population includes telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown cases
- Ventilator and transplant patient care is required
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- Schedule spans Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
- Some holiday coverage is required
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required — AHA-issued only
- Prior telemetry, oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown nursing experience required
- Ventilator and transplant experience required
Additional Information
- A telemetry competency test must be passed prior to being cleared to start
- 13-week contract
