Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a weekend-focused Days schedule requiring 2 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Surgical Services unit within a 495-bed hospital
- Specializes in OR Neurosurgery with brain and spine procedures
- Preferred experience includes Neuro, Da Vinci Robot, Vascular, Orthopedic Trauma, Orthopedics, General Trauma, Urology, Thoracic, Bariatrics, Oncology, Plastics, and Breast procedures
- Uses MAZOR robot, stealth navigation, O-arm, and ROSA equipment
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
- Schedule consists of Saturday, Sunday & Monday 3x12 Day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Weekend work required every Saturday and Sunday
- No on-call requirements
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA State License or Compact)
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA only
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Scrub color: Blue
- Must adhere to facility dress code policy
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
