Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN with neuro experience for a 13-week day shift contract in Paducah, KY.
Details
- Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
- Role is specifically for a Circulator RN focused on neuro cases
- Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
- Current BLS certification required
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
- Previous nursing experience preferred, particularly in a circulator or neuro OR role
- Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
- Copies of certifications required for consideration

- Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of admission, transfer, and discharge activities
- Circulator duties include implementing patient care therapies and procedures within scope of practice, delegating tasks, and monitoring team performance
- Actively participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring
- Nursing practice is evidence-based, incorporating all four phases of the nursing process with critical thinking and clinical autonomy
