Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Outpatient Surgery/Endoscopy position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 3 years of OR experience in a fast-paced perioperative environment.
Details
- Outpatient surgery and endoscopy center setting
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off based on schedule
- Start times vary between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM depending on case volume
- Patient population includes pre-op open heart and total joint patients
- Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover
- Moderate sedation procedures performed
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required, unrestricted and in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 3 years of OR/surgical nursing experience required
- Endoscopy experience required
- Recent experience in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months required
- Comfort with pre-op and PACU Phase II workflows required
- Outpatient surgery and perioperative experience strongly preferred
- Experience with moderate sedation preferred
- Active, unrestricted license with no prior hits on record
- Two supervisor references required: one from the past year (preferably most recent employer) and one from within the past two years
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include perioperative nursing care across pre-op, intraoperative, and PACU Phase II settings
- RTO is capped at 5 days for the duration of the contract
