Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in California, requiring active CA RN licensure and a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience.
Details
- Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Cerner EMR used in this position
- Floating to other areas may be required when cardiovascular cases are not available
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required; must be active at time of consideration — pending licenses not accepted
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; pending certifications not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR or cardiovascular OR nursing experience required
- A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates placed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
- Pre-assignment modules are required to be completed before the start date; modules average approximately 6 hours to complete
- 12-hour orientation is included with this assignment
- Scrub color or dress code not specified — candidates should be prepared to follow facility guidelines upon arrival
