Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Postpartum (Mother Baby) position in Boston, MA, requiring prior travel experience, a MA RN license, and high-acuity patient care background.
Details
- Inpatient Obstetrics Postpartum Unit within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage is required as this is a seasonal assignment
- No floating required
- No charge nurse responsibilities required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum RN experience required
- High-acuity patient care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry monitoring highly preferred
- COVID vaccine and booster required; flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions permitted)
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
- Any candidate who has previously worked at a Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility in any capacity (travel, per diem, or permanent) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
- Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
