Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother Baby/Postpartum position in a hospital setting, requiring an active MA RN license and prior postpartum experience.
Details
- Work in the Mother Baby unit (5 West) of a hospital setting
- 36-hour rotating schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotation based on department need
- Shifts run either 7:15p–7:15a (nights) or 7:00a–7:30p (days)
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- Epic used for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification from AHA only
- Current NRP certification required
- Prior postpartum/mother baby nursing experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
- MA RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — no pending licenses accepted
Additional Information
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense, and public transportation is an option
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible but will be placed at a reduced rate
