Description
American Traveler is hiring a Special Newborn Nursery RN for a night shift contract requiring NICU Level 2 experience and NRP certification.
Details
- Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) with 8 beds in an acute care hospital setting
- Level 3 trauma facility with approximately 800 births per year
- 24/7 NNP and Neonatology coverage available
- 12-hour night shifts with rotating start times (0600-1830, 1800-0630)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Uses Allscripts EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN not required
- Current BLS (AHA) and NRP certifications required
- STABLE certification required
- 2 years of SCN/NICU Level 2 experience preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery setting
- 8-hour orientation provided
- Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
